This Privacy Policy explains what information NovaLib ("we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. NovaLib is a fill-in-the-blank word game. We've kept this simple and honest.

When you create an account and use NovaLib, we collect:

• Username — the name you choose, shown on the leaderboard.
• Email address — used for your account and password recovery.
• Password — stored only in a securely hashed form. We never store or see your actual password.
• Game data — your stats, scores, stories you create, achievements, and leaderboard position.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any information beyond what is listed above.

How we use your information

We use this information only to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Let you play, save stories, and appear on the leaderboard.
• Send password-reset emails when you request them.

What we don't do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not use analytics or third-party tracking tools.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

How your data is stored and protected

Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled servers. Passwords are protected using one-way hashing, so they cannot be read by anyone, including us. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage over the internet is ever completely secure.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time directly within the app. You may also contact us at the email below to request deletion. When you delete your account, we remove your username, email, and game data from our records.

Children's privacy

NovaLib is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
